S.K Essel Farms, a well-known agricultural enterprise based in Akyai Dobio, Greater Accra Region, has reached a new milestone in its journey. Led by Samuel Kofi Essel, the company is recognized for exporting yam and processing plantain and millet into flour. S.K Essel Farms exports to Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Canada, and the USA. However, the business faced a major obstacle: limited storage space and lack of essential modern machinery.
To overcome this challenge, S.K Essel Farms partnered with Tradeline Consult in January 2024. Tradeline Consult conducted a thorough assessment of the business operations, reviewed their financial records, and identified key areas for improvement.

Understanding the critical need for financial support, Tradeline Consult leveraged its expertise and connections to secure a funding package of 1.5 million Ghana cedis from Absa Bank at a favorable interest rate of 10%. This financial boost enabled the company to construct a modern warehouse protecting produce and streamlining its export processes.
“Today, we are thrilled to announce that the warehouse has been successfully completed! This new facility has significantly improved storage capacity, ensuring that S.K Essel Farms can keep its produce safe and maintain quality standards throughout the year”- excited CEO exclaims..
S.K Essel Farms has now increased its monthly export from 8 to 20 containers. This remarkable achievement is a testament to what can be accomplished through dedication, strategic partnerships, and timely support.
Moving forward, S.K Essel Farms plans to continue expanding its reach, with a focus on enhancing product quality and building stronger relationships with international buyers. With ongoing support from Tradeline Consult, the company is well-positioned for further growth and success in the global market.
In addition to securing funding, Tradeline Consult is committed to further facilitating the growth of S.K Essel Farms through initiatives such as website design, signboard installation, FDA certification, and monthly financial reconciliations to strengthen its market presence and operational efficiency.
