Tradeline Consult engages sorghum aggregators at 2025 P3SG regional pre-season event

Tradeline Consult Ltd recently participated in the Partnership for Sustainable Sorghum Sourcing in Ghana (P3SG) Project Regional Pre-Season Event, held from 3rd to 5th June 2025 at the Dellagio Hotel in Wa. Organized to usher in the 2025 cropping season, the event brought together key actors in Ghana’s sorghum value chain, including farmers, aggregators, agronomists, financial institutions, NGOs, and development partners.

As part of the P3SG initiative led by SNV (Netherlands Development Organisation), Tradeline Consult is expected to support Aggregator Businesses (ABs) through tailored business advisory services, with a focus on financial planning and access to capital.

Tradeline Consult played a pivotal role in promoting business and financial literacy among value chain actors. Our team facilitated a dedicated session on “Access to Finance and Opportunities for Sorghum Aggregators”, which addressed funding challenges, investment readiness, and business plan development.

The session highlighted Tradeline’s business development and financial advisory services, strategies to enhance aggregator creditworthiness, available financial opportunities tailored to agribusinesses, and key constraints and possible interventions discussed in an open dialogue with participants.

Participants expressed enthusiasm for further collaboration, particularly in training, investor engagement, and access to finance.

Tradeline Consult’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to empowering agribusinesses in Northern Ghana, strengthening value chains, and forging impactful partnerships. The event also provided valuable insights into the current needs of the sorghum sector, reinforcing the importance of collaborative planning, practical support, and business-to-business networking.

“We look forward to sustaining engagement with value chain stakeholders and delivering measurable outcomes through its business advisory and financial facilitation services.” Mohammed Saani, Business Development Officer at Tradeline Consult noted
